Ep. 16 The NeverEnding Story (1984)

Wolfgang Peterson takes his shot at adapting a beloved Children’s novel into a fantasy film set literally in the land created from mankind’s collective imagination. In a rather traumatic story, a sad young boys finds himself drawn into reading a story about the magical land of Fantasia, which is slowly being destroyed by a monstrous force, simply referred to as “the Nothing.” He begins to realize that both he and the characters of the story are drawn together into a shared reality…and that’s where the fun begins. Tune in as Chris breaks down musings about WFLD 32, the Author attempting to block the film’s release, and appropriate names as the LSCE screens the 1984 fantasy classic “The NeverEnding Story.” Join Us!
