Ep. 29 Once Bitten (1985)

Just your average "boy meets girl meets thirsty Countess" story...

Vampire in comedies are not anything new- they have been show at the multiplex- tangling with the likes of Bud Abbot & Lou Costello over 70 years ago and continuing on from there. By the time we are getting into the 80’s, the combining of the vampire motif with a teen sex comedy seemed like a natural next step. In Los Angeles, a beautiful Countess and her stable of thralls are looking for find a young virgin to sup on before Halloween, all in an effort to maintain her beauty. Of course, you can imagine how hard it will be to find a young virgin in the big city…especially when played by a young Jim Carrey. Tune in as Chris waxes on about Cleavon Little, 80’s soundtracks, and words you can’t say anymore as the LSCE screens the 1985 comedy “Once Bitten.” Join Us.
